We are Conviction, a group of friends and players who have been raiding together for up-to three years. Conviction was initially an established guild on World of Warcraft, since January 2009; this is where the core of our raiding experience derives from, as we were once a top 150 US guild.

However, with the downfall of World of Warcraft and with the uprising of Star Wars, Conviction has decided to switch its focus to fighting for the Empire. You can expect that we will be pushing end-game content as quickly as possible while still maintaining a friendly and welcoming gaming atmosphere for all types of players.

Congratulations to Conviction's 8-man raid group for destroying Soa on our third night of actual attempts. Despite our late start at raiding, we managed to climb the server rankings and have landed ourselves a spot as the #2 Empire 8-man guild, and #3 Empire overall. This puts us into a great position for the next content, where we will be competing for server first.

Conviction is also now recruiting all DPS classes and a Sorcerer Healer or Mercenary Healer for our second 8-man group. If you are interested in being apart of a tight knit, laid back group of players who strive to push end-game content, then please fill out an application on our forums.

Congratulations to Conviction's 8-man raid group for completing 3/5 Nightmare Mode bosses this Wednesday (January 25)! These kills have placed us as the #1 Sith guild on the server, and the #2 guild on the server. Fantastic work!

Congratulations to Conviction's 8-man raid group for destroying all of the new boss encounters in Karagga's Palace on normal mode, as well as 4/5 bosses in hard mode. Despite not having any specific strategies, or any knowledge of the boss mechanics, the group still managed to defeat most of the encounters that they faced with moderate ease. Bets were also placed as to how long Hizm would remain alive before being deteriorated by poison, which ultimately ensured that the night would be enjoyable. Thanks, Hizm!

A huge congratulations to Conviction's 8-man raid this week for jumping into the SWTOR end-game content for the first time and downing all normal modes, as well as two hardmodes. Despite all of the encountered bugs, and hours of getting frustrated by being victims of these bugs, we still managed to pull through and see some great progression and gear. We look forward to beating up more hardmode bosses in the weeks to come and we anticipate being one of the top guilds on the server.
